At CIDEG, one important element of academic research is to compare China with other countries in order to borrow and learn the best practices. Pursuant to CIDEG chairman CHEN Qingtai’s proposal, CIDEG translates and publishes the “CIDEG Series”, which aims to introduce different development paths from agricultural countries to developed countries and the measures deployed to treat conflicts between rapidly developing economies and the environment. This series covers a wide range of subjects and is designed to offer more information and knowledge to Chinese readers including students, scholars, officials, entrepreneurs and other interested persons. The editorial board of “CIDEG Series” will select works to be included in the series. CIDEG is thankful to the board members, academic members and other writers, translators, and editors for their work.
